Friday Traffic Alert: Main St. Intersection to Close
Bethlehem Electrical Bureau is scheduled to replace traffic light pole at Main St. and Elizabeth Ave. on Friday. Intersection to be closed.
The intersection of Main Street and Elizabeth Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday from about 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bethlehem police said.
The city’s electrical bureau will be installing a new traffic signal pole to replace one that had been damaged in a vehicle crash, police said.
Detour signs will be placed in each direction, said police, who advise drivers to use caution when in this area and to avoid the intersection if possible.
