As of late Thursday afternoon, tickets were still available for tonight’s Bethlehem Rooftop Beach Party at the North Street Parking Deck, 85 W. North St., according to Samantha Schwartz, manager of the Downtown Bethlehem Association.
The third annual event, scheduled to run from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., will showcase a live DJ, zumba dancers, a full band, limbo, ladderball, bean bag toss, a “Beach Bum/Beach Babe” competition and door prizes.
The tropical beach theme will be matched by the weather. It is expected to be hot and sunny, with a high temperature of 94 degrees. There is no rain in the forecast.
Local restaurants were expected to cater the event and event hosts, the Downtown Bethlehem Association, are hosting two full bars serving beer, Bacardi Sangria, Bacardi Mojitos, and Bud Light Lime-a-Ritas, as well as Landshark, Bud Lite, and Fegley’s Space Monkey.
Tickets at $10 each were still available at five locations:
Tickets can also be purchased through the DBA’s Website.
Proceeds from the event will go directly into DBA’s advertising budget and will help the downtown merchants promote the park and shop program and investments in a new parking campaign.
The party is a result of a partnership among the Downtown Bethlehem Association, The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Bethlehem Parking Authority.
