Report: City Man to Face Charges for Heroin Dealing

Police say Wilson Ramos had $44,000 of the drug hidden in his apartment.

A man accused of having $44,000 worth of heroin in his Bethlehem apartment has been ordered to face trial in Northampton County Court following a preliminary hearing today, according to a report in The Morning Call.

Wilson Dilan Ramos is in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

The Morning Call story reports that Ramos’s defense attorney, James Burke, argued that the drugs may have belonged to someone else, such as Luis Angel Marquez, who stayed at Ramos’s apartment and is also awaiting trial on drug charges.
