Oct. 31, 7:30 - Keb’ Mo’
Keb' Mo's music is a living link to the seminal Delta blues that traveled up the Mississippi River and across the expanse of America - informing all of its musical roots - before evolving into a universally celebrated art form. Born Kevin Moore in South Los Angeles to parents originally from the deep South, he adopted his better known stage name when he was a young musician. In 1994, he issued his blues-heavy debut disc, Keb' Mo', and subsequent albums have demonstrated the depth and breadth of his artistry. Three of them, Just Like You (1996), Slow Down (1998) and Keep It Simple (2004), have been honored with Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. - Tony Lucca
He may have just recently caught national attention as a contestant on The Voice, where he finished as the second runner-up, but Tony Lucca is no stranger to the stage. His songs have been featured on TV's "Friday Night Lights," "Brothers & Sisters," "Shark" and "Felicity" and in Kevin Costner's movie "Open Range.”
