If the hunt is as much fun as the bargain treasures found, you won’t want to miss the Boutique at the Rink sale opening Tuesday and continuing through Saturday in the Bethlehem Municipal Ice Rink, 349 Illick’s Mill Road in Bethlehem.
The annual sale of new and gently used items of men’s women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, shoes, lingerie, house wares, toys, antiques, linens, collectibles, sports equipment, china and jewelry kicks off at 4 p.m. Tuesday with Premiere Night. A $10 donation gives shoppers first pick of all items, which include many new designer fashions, handbags and accessories at a fraction of retail price.
Sale days and hours are: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, full price; 10a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, half-price days, and 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, bag day. Parking is free, refreshments are available and rooms to try on clothing are available.
“It’s like a department store under one roof,” says Francie DeSalvio, Boutique cochairman with Joan Fishman, describing the vast array of items assembled and sorted by department, sized and priced by an army of 200 volunteers.
All proceeds support cancer patients in the Lehigh Valley through St. Luke’s Cancer Center, St. Luke’s Hospice and Cancer Support Community. This is the 38th year of the sale, the largest of its kind in the Lehigh Valley. For more information or to view items, go to boutiqueattherink.com
